50 days until graduation, 50 days of drinking beer. 50 Day Club has ended for 2008! Congratulations to the Red Team!
History
The 50 Day Club evolved after our beloved loyal drunk employees, Tim Epp and Patrick Riepenhoff, decided to see how many days they could come down to the bar their senior year. After 37 days and broken livers, they called it quits. BUT, through their experience, they developed more friendships then they had before and still cherish the memories. From those few tally marks on the chalkboard, the 50 day club was born.
Whether it is stopping in to have coffee with Floyd in the morning, or eating lunch with Heather, the 50 day club is entering our fifth year and still all about becoming entrenched in the Backstretch family. It is tough. It is about rescheduling your life. It is a commitment. But it is so worth it!
Rules
You must come in everyday for the next 50 days. If you are out of town for an athletic event, etc. you may get prior approval to skip that day, BUT, you must make up that # of drinks within the following five days after you return.
You need to partake in TWO beverages each visit. BUT, we do not promote irresponsible drinking, therefore, non-alcoholic beverages count as well.
It is your responsibility to make sure that the bartender signs off on your card each day.
If in the case of a discrepancy, Joanne's final decision is the only one that counts.
There is a private dinner party for 50 day club members only on April 13th. This is the only Sunday that is not a freebie and is MANDATORY! Mark it on your calendar .
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN! (Jr's, Sr's, Delawareans) Only requirement is that you are 21 years of age.
Have fun, be safe and remember that being a part of the 40 Day Club is about being part of The Backstretch Family! |
